This is like Detroits version of Waffle house, a NY bodega or a California hamburger stand. Local authentic diner food. Not really a spot for atmosphere but definitely for late night quality grub. They even serve breakfast for dinner
I'm stuffed. Basic coney food in the middle of the night. You can't really go wrong. The portions were very good. I always know when the money I spent was worth it when the bag is a little heavy carrying it out.
Great food, great service, great price!!! Super conveniently located downtown. Parking is available in the back of the building as well as street parking on the side of the building. I ordered the Chicken gyro and it was delicious. Another customer asked what I ordered after it arrived and he too ordered 1 and was pleased.
Was looking for a spot to eat before leaving town, and was glad to find this place!! Will be a for sure stop any time I'm in Detroit. Food was top notch and so was the service!! One of the few places that is still open 24hrs as well!
This place was a terrific spot for late night, post concert food. My gyro wrap was just wonderful. They serve burgers, coneys, hash brown egg rolls, loaded fries, burgers, all kinds of quick but delicious street style food. Considering how busy they were, the service was still very quick and we didn't have wait long for our food. The atmosphere was a little sketch considering we went at midnight and a few drunk people and vagrants were present; but that comes with the territory of a 24 hour downtown diner, so it was no big deal. Just make sure to go with a group of people and don't take any flak from panhandlers!
It's clean, our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Unbelievable selection on the menu. Of course I had to have a Coney Dog and fries, both were excellent. And we got the number one Detroit sandwich on pita bread and that also was excellent. Didn't stop with that, got corned beef hash, and that was terrific too
I've been here plenty of times before, and they've always had food(with the environment and setting of place being low quality) honestly holds more weight in value upon anything I've ordered so far. If I try something new there I'm automatically enticed to feel it's going to be good or great almost always.

This is a great place to come after hours. Its always open. Awesome pancakes. Awesome eggs. And a whole menue of greek classics. Traditional coney island fare at coney island prices. Which is to say, cheap eats! Plus there is always at least 5 different cakes to choose from, served in gigantic triangles of death. Awesome place
